Every year I yearn for summer. The thing with living in northern Utah is that every summer is different. Some are more hot. Some are more cold. Some more wet. Some more dry. You get my point. I guess this could be true for everywhere else right? I don't really know. I've only spent summers, aside from the occasional week or two in Texas, in northern Utah.
This year has been no different. I've yearned for summer. Longed for it. And yet, as with every other summer since I've turned twelve, summer isn't all it's cracked up to be. It turns out that I get bored easily. I lose interest in the things I love: reading, writing, and other stuff. (Those are pretty much my two favorite things. Oh and watching TV and movies- yes, I'm a sad little boring girl.)
Six weeks into the summer that I've spent lazing around when I'm not working and I'm ready to go back to school. What will happen when I don't have school to look forward to anymore? I guess, hopefully, I'll have a full time job that takes up some of my time. Maybe even a man.
The point of this rambling is mostly to admit that I thought I'd have more to blog about with all my free time. Turns out that I've lost much of my desire to blog. Hope that changes. So those of you who still read this, please don't give up on me. One day, I'll have something interesting for you to read... if you still want to.
Just keep keeping on.

The Fictional Guy of the Week: Chuck Bartowski
The Fictional Guy of the Week is... CHUCK BARTOWSKI!!
Location: NBC's CHUCK
His Story:
When we first meet Chuck, he's in his mid to late 20s working at the local Buy More (think Best Buy) because he got kicked out of Princeton for cheating (A crime he did not commit by the way). He's a loser pretty much. Oh and he's still pretty hung up on his old girlfriend who dumped him for his best friend who happens to be the guy that accused Chuck of cheating. Kind of complicated now that I look at it. Anyway, Chuck is living a below average life with his sister and her boyfriend, Captain Awesome [Devon].
His life isn't going anywhere... until Chuck receives an email that changes his life... and his brain. Soon Chuck becomes a super computer, an Intersect to be more exact. And a spy. He's surrounded by CIA spy, Sarah and NSA agent, John Casey. Now it's up to this trio to save the world from all the bad guys. It is both amusing and entertaining. The best part is that Chuck still tends to remain a normal guy... despite that fact that he's a supercomputer who knows Kung Fu.
Why He's FGW:
I picked Chuck this week because I really like the fact that he's a nerd and a pretty normal guy. Even with a computer in his brain, he remains pretty much the same, albeit with some special skills. He still plays video games and hangs with his best friend Morgan. Chuck is still vulnerable and he's not always confident. It makes him real and normal and obtainable by the average girl (like me). He's not some super unattainable hottie who only gets super models. Although, Chuck does get the girl, Sarah, and she looks like a super model. But that's not the point. The point is that he's a normal guy and there's not a lot of those on TV. Okay, so he's not completely normal. He does have that Intersect in his brain and he can learn skills such as Kung Fu or ballroom dancing by using it. But he's still relative average.
Oh and I also love that he always wears Chucks (Converse). That's hot! And awesome!!
